George introduceert zichzelf:

" I began songwriting only 5 years ago and late in life (so at 53 I am the “new kid on the block” so to speak). Almost immediately some of my songs began to get snapped up by other artists, so in 2003 I released my first couple of albums on a home label and began tentatively my performing career. At that point Robb Johnson asked me to record for his new label (UNLaBELLED Records), with which I released a further two albums, and yet another two for Robb’s main label (Irregular Records), totalling six to date. Doubling in numbers of gigs year on year, I have so far reached 70 performances/bookings for 2006 including 11 festivals (Sidmouth, Broadstairs, Shrewsbury, Burntwood, Otley, Gainsborough etc and the Australian National Folk Festival in Canberra, from where I have just returned). My albums have had brilliant reviews in the Living Tradition, fRoots, Folk Roundabout, Unicorn, Folk London and Shreds & Patches magazines; a number of my songs are sung around folk clubs by floorsingers; and several touring artists also like:

Graeme Knights recorded “Give Me The Good News” in his latest album “Life is a song”;
